Shingo Ito, CEO of Medeta, will speak at the “8th Multilayer Systems Medicine Symposium,” held at Yamaguchi University School of Medicine on November 29, 2025.

The symposium, titled “New Challenges for Intractable Diseases Through AI and Systems Medicine,” will highlight the latest research and real-world applications of medical AI. Ito will deliver a talk titled “Thinking from Outcomes: How a Complete AI Beginner Built a Global-Ready AI Startup with AISMEC.”

The Fertility Technology Council, established in October 2025, brings together leading companies, medical institutions, academic societies, and governmental stakeholders to advance cutting-edge reproductive technologies. The initiative is led by Varinos Inc. as the organizing company.

On November 12, 2025, the Council held its inaugural press briefing at the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare’s Press Club.

Medeta has joined the Council as a Board Member, contributing expertise in non-invasive embryo selection AI and data infrastructure. Moving forward, we will work to promote next-generation fertility technologies, support evidence-based policy development, and contribute to broader industry advancement.
